The driveway up to the house. You can barely see the house through the trees in the upper left. Boring photo, actually.
Halfway up the driveway, you can see the right side of the house (as viewed from the inside). Another boring photo - they get a little better.
The house is T-shaped, with the bedrooms, baths, office, and studio in the wing out the back. The front (above) faces the pond, due south. The overhang is such that practically no sun gets into the house in the summer (you can see where the shadow falls) but tons of sun gets in during the winter. The kitchen's on the right of this pic, LR/DR on the left.
The garage is below and to the right of the house. It holds four cars and my workshop. Dave's two Alfas are visible plus Vi's Subaru. The Bimmer is in front of the red Alfa, since it hardly ever gets used when the weather's nice.
The left side of the house, viewed from deep in the back yard. The BRs etc. are in the wing on the right. The "front door" is in the center of the pic, i.e. in the back of the house, just like our former house in Wellesley.
Stone walk leads up to the flagstone patio on the front of the house, with sliders into the LR. The entrance we usually use is on the side of the house, off to the right of this pic, and goes into the kitchen.
The kitchen looking right, standing in the doorway mentioned above. We had the original oak cabinets refinished. Pretty '50s, eh?
The kitchen looking left, from the doorway to the LR. We love all the glass, and have long since lost any inhibitions we might have harbored.
The rear of the kitchen. Note tuba up above. Table came from the kitchen in Wellesley. There's a fireplace in the wall just to the left of this pic that gets used for cooking (and warmth) during winter.
The living room looking right, taken from the kitchen doorway. We tried to sell our piano before we moved here, thinking that it wouldn't fit, but fortunately no one bought it and it fits just fine.  That's a set of vibes in the middle. The cabinets for the stereo/TV were in our den in Wellesley; they fit much better here.
The living room looking left. Couch was in the den in Wellesley. An Elizabeth Van painting is over the dining table, which also came from Wellesley. The fireplace is to to the left of this pic (again).
The front door, on the back of the house again. If you walk toward the front door and take a left and then a right, you enter the T-shaped wing on the back of the house headed for the bedrooms.
The hallway down the T. Dave's office is to the left of the pic. On the left, a spare BR half-way down and our BR at the end. On the right, the front bath, then a closet, then Vi's studio. A painting from Vi's vagina series is at the far end; mostly family pics on the left wall.
Dave's office, from whence all of this electronic drivel cometh. Lots of bookshelves to the right and a fireplace to the left of the pic (for the third and final time).
The front bath, with Jacuzzi and view of the back yard. Both baths were as original when we bought the house and we had them done over. This one is in cherry.
Vi's studio, in its usual condition. Had been the master BR, but she took it over. 'Twas a decision that saved us from having to have an addition built.
The bedroom. Thought it might be too small after moving from what is now Vi's studio, but it's worked out fine.
The back bath, off of Vi's studio (ex-master BR). Kinda wild, with black marbly tile everywhere including the ceiling. You can see the shower in the reflection, all glass. You get to see yourself from all angles in the shower, not such a great idea as we get older.  Oops - forgot to close the lid.
The view out the front. This is a couple of pics pasted together to create this kinda panoramic view, but it really doesn't do it justice. Living here is kinda like waking up in a postcard every morning.
The beach, visible at the far left of the pic above. Good for kids and launching boats, but goes out too shallowly for adults to go swimming. There's a rocky point to the left of this pic where we go in the water.
View from the dock. There's a dock attached to the rocky point where we tie up the canoe and rowboat. This pic was taken from said dock.
